New Zealand is the perfect environment for raising goats. Our managed farms enable us to produce premium goat meat consistently and supply it to anywhere in the world.

About NZ Premium Goat Meat

While the export arm of the business is relatively new, we have been goat farmers in New Zealand since 1995, selling goat meat products locally through our domestic business Shingle Creek Chevon.

With the success of this venture, combined with increasing demand for goat meat internationally, the decision was made to expand into exporting, resulting the formation of New Zealand Premium Goat Meat Limited in 2016.

Since then the business has grown to include more land, stock and farmers. The first export shipment was made in 2018 to Korea.

About Our Goat Farms

Our goat meat comes from experienced, professionally-run farms in Central Otago and across New Zealand.

The hot, dry summers are perfectly suited to goats and clean mountain water flows through the farms, aiding bountiful feed stocks for the free-roaming goats to keep them in premium condition.
